Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account: a username and a salted hash of your password. Email is optional and only used for account recovery if you provide it.
• Game activity: your paper trades, watchlist, settings and gamification state — that's the product.
• Technical: standard server logs (IP, timestamps) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). Google sets its own cookies for this; see Google's privacy policy.

What we never collect

No payment information, no brokerage connections, no government IDs, no real-money balances, no sale of data to anyone.

Cookies

One session cookie keeps you logged in, plus Google Analytics cookies for traffic measurement (see above).

Leaderboard visibility

Your username and paper-trading performance appear on the leaderboard. Pick a pseudonym if you prefer anonymity.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting masdouk@techma.ca.
